We are looking for a highly experienced Agile Delivery Lead with a strong engineering background to manage complex, multi-project sprint cycles while leading cross-country remote/hybrid teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Agile methodologies, coupled with hands-on experience as an engineering lead. You will be instrumental in coaching your team, fostering technical excellence, and ensuring high performance across all development efforts.
About the Role:
As the Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of sprints across geographically distributed teams. You will ensure that Agile best practices are followed, lead the team in continuous improvement, and manage the complexities of multiple projects while adjusting priorities to suit evolving business goals. Drawing from your engineering experience, you will also coach the team to build scalable, efficient solutions and support their technical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership: Lead and manage cross-country remote/hybrid Agile teams, ensuring smooth coordination across time zones and geographies.
Engineering Coaching and Leadership: Use your engineering experience to coach the team on technical challenges, improve their coding practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Guide team members in adopting best practices in software development, architecture, and testing.
Sprint Planning and Delivery: Facilitate sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives while ensuring tasks are well-defined, estimated accurately, and aligned with the company’s objectives.
Multi-Project Management: Oversee multiple simultaneous projects, managing dependencies, resource allocation, and risks while ensuring timely delivery. Use your engineering background to assist in solving technical bottlenecks or design challenges.
Adjusting to Dynamic Priorities: Adjust sprint goals dynamically based on business requirements, market conditions, and competitive pressures, while ensuring engineering solutions remain scalable and aligned with long-term goals.
Foster Accountability and Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by leading retrospectives, refining Agile processes, and implementing actionable insights for better team performance. Encourage accountability and proactive work across the team.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from engineering teams to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress and goals.
Agile Metrics and Tools: Leverage Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown charts) to track team performance and implement improvements where necessary. Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Zoom to keep distributed teams aligned and productive.
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering Leadership Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery Lead, with prior hands-on experience in software development as an engineering lead or senior engineer. You should have a solid understanding of modern development practices, tools, and methodologies.
Agile Expertise: Proven track record of managing remote and hybrid teams across multiple countries, with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. Experience leading teams through Agile transformations and process improvements. Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are highly preferred.
Engineering Skills: Strong background in software development, with knowledge of system architecture, coding best practices, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps practices. Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and modern development tools is a plus.
Technical Coaching: Ability to mentor and guide engineers on best practices, helping them to solve technical challenges, improve their problem-solving skills, and foster a high-performance culture within the development teams.
Remote Team Management: Proven experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, with the ability to foster clear communication and collaboration across different time zones and cultures. Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Slack, Zoom, Confluence) is essential.
Multi-Project Management: Proven experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects while balancing business priorities and project delivery timelines. Ability to help engineering teams navigate complex dependencies and technical challenges.
Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies. Ability to think strategically, balancing immediate priorities with long-term technical goals.
Stakeholder Management and Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement Focus: Deep experience in facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable improvements to continuously refine Agile processes, team collaboration, and sprint efficiency.
