QA Manual Tester Intern

About the Role:

As a QA Manual Tester Intern at Knowledge Catalyst, you are contributing to the delivery of high-quality B2B enterprise software. This is a paid internship program and an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world software development environment. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure our applications are reliable and meet user expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing to identify defects and inconsistencies.
  • Conduct thorough testing of web, mobile, and API functionalities to ensure the user experience is seamless and consistent across all platforms.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining test scenarios and test cases in JIRA.
  • Accurately document, report, and escalate bugs and enhancement requests to the development team, tracking them until resolution.
  • Work with the development and product teams to understand requirements and verify that implemented features meet the defined criteria.
Required Qualifications:
  • A final-year student or recent graduate currently studying Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with writing test scenarios and test cases.
  • Basic working knowledge of a defect tracking tool, such as JIRA.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude and a high desire to learn.
