Development, Security, Operations Engineer

About the Role:

The Development, Security, Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our B2B enterprise software. This role combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant systems, serving as a critical link between development and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the design, implementation, and management of highly reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
  • Architect the development of secure CI/CD pipelines, automating continuous integration and deployment processes to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
  • Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis, utilizing a data-driven approach to troubleshoot complex production issues and implement systemic improvements.
  • Define and enforce service reliability standards by establishing, implementing, and monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
  • Contribute to technical strategy and mentor junior engineers, focusing on operational excellence, cost optimization, and adherence to security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27701).
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure management on GCP or AWS, including a Professional-level certification.
  • Proven track record in architecting and owning CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in containerization and a deep understanding of application security.
  • Advanced skills in incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
  • Experience in designing multitenant infrastructure as code (IaC) and a strong understanding of database clustering and ISO 27001/27701 compliance.

It’s a Plus If You Have:

  • Deep experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with performance and chaos engineering.
  • Contributions to open-source projects related to DevOps or SRE.
