Agile Delivery Lead / Scrum Master

About the Role:

The Agile Delivery Lead is a key leader responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of sprints across geographically distributed teams. You will ensure Agile best practices are followed, lead the team in continuous improvement, and manage complex projects to meet evolving business goals. Drawing from your engineering background, you will also mentor the team to build scalable, efficient solutions and support their technical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor cross-country, remote/hybrid teams, ensuring smooth coordination and accountability.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring accurate task estimation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Coach the team on technical challenges, improve coding practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing dependencies, risks, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and proactive work, leveraging Agile metrics to continuously refine team processes and performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead, with prior hands-on experience in software development.
  • Proven track record of managing remote/hybrid teams with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) are highly preferred.
  • Strong technical background in software development, including knowledge of system architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers on best practices and help them solve complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving bottlenecks and risks.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and balancing business priorities with project delivery timelines.

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Monday.com, and collaboration platforms like Slack, Zoom, and Confluence.
  • Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar.
